Jon this one's for you...



This is totally your idea! (except it's not on a hitch, or very removable) But I think you see the problem this guy has. Not too many people would want a pallet loaded with bricks on their hood.:)

It's funny that a V8 with tranny weighs more than 3/4 of a 4 door Suzuki Sidekick.

bah!! foiled again was I!! yeah that is what i was thinking about. but more for a heavier vehicle like a truck with a v-8 in the front or a jeep with a six in the front:) and using removable straps that fasten to the roof rack or something ,to hold back the top instead of bars. if that guy wanted to, he could make a front mounted counter weight to fix the tipping problem instead of scratching his hood but from the looks of things i do not think he really cares about the hood, or the doors , or the car in general.....

Yeah, I just saw this one, and thought of you. A truck or longer, heavier vehicle, would probably not need extra weight in the front. I imagine trying to drive the sidekick with an engine hanging that far out the back would be near impossible to steer without counterweights.
